Development centre
In our research and development centre, we work together with customers on developing new products and optimising existing ones. But our task doesn’t stop with the development of a new profile. In conjunction with our customers, our profiles are optimised on an ongoing basis to ensure that the end products continue to offer the greatest possible benefit in the future. With us, there’s (almost) no limit as regards dimensions, weights, tolerances, steel or surface properties.
We develop your ideas into optimum profiles for all of your applications. The extent of our range of special profiles is unmatched anywhere in the world; we can produce profiles weighing from 2 kg/m up to more than 180 kg/m. Our development centre comprising engineers, material specialists, technical and construction designers as well as laboratory technicians, concentrates solely on expanding geometric variances, enhancing product diversification and improving product properties.
The development team is supported by state-of-the-art equipment that is subject to continuous further development, including a model rolling mill and a fully equipped test laboratory for testing geometries, material properties and surfaces. Up-to-date CAD/CAM systems are used as well as complex numerical analysis according to the finite element method.
In close cooperation and by joint use of technical know-how, we are also in a position to satisfy the high demands of our customers. The co-operation goes even further, as we are only satisfied once the new product is smoothly integrated into your product chain and project success is imminent.
