Why use special profiles?

Using special profiles offers a variety of advantages:

• You save time and money, because mechanical treatment and multiple handling can be eliminated.
• You reduce weight, because an asymmetrical shape is combined with exactly the right steel properties.
• You improve the dimensional accuracy compared with other manufacturing methods.
• You improve the properties of installation-ready components because of the uniform mechanical properties. For example, zones affected by the heat involved in welding are a thing of the past.
• You receive surfaces, that comply with the highest requirements.

In contrast to conventional steel profiles or welded/prefabricated products, a special profile may represent the more effective solution. Our profiles are tailor-made designs; the rolls and tools used to manufacture them are reserved only for the customer in question.
