Cold-drawn profiles for masts

Mannstaedt also offers cold-drawing of mast profiles. Cold-drawing of profiles - after hot-rolling - results in highly precise masts, tailor-made for your individual applications.

Profiles with the following dimensions can be cold-drawn:

Width (mm): min. 30–max. 190
Height (mm): min. 10–max. 100
Length (m): min. 0.5–max. 12
Weight (kg/m): min. 2.5–max. 45

Cold-drawn masts are especially used in warehouse forklifts with extreme stroke heights. The main benefits include precision in terms of angular dimension, surface quality and substantially improved dimensional tolerances.

Naturally we also offer different kinds of treatment, if required:

sawing into fitting lengths
blasting to achieve a better surface
mechanical machining (drilling, milling)
